Student Programs

Mammoth Hospital offers opportunities for students interested in exploring healthcare careers and students currently enrolled in academic healthcare career studies.  Applications are considered individually and require approval from Human Resources and the Manager of the department requested by the student. Participants must be 16 years of age or older. Students less than 18 years of age must have signed consent from their parent or guardian prior to scheduling observation experiences.

Observation Student

The purpose of the observation student program is to expose students interested in healthcare careers to day-to-day activities in a specific department. Observation students do not participate in patient care and have no hands-on patient contact.  Approved Observation Students may be scheduled for a maximum of three eight-hour shifts of observation. Observation student experiences will not meet requirements of academic progression, healthcare degrees, or volunteer hours.
