Little Lupins Employee Preschool

ABOUT

Mammoth Hospital’s employee preschool opened in the Fall of 2022 and is located in the downstairs of the Mammoth Lakes Lutheran Church at 379 Old Mammoth Road, Mammoth Lakes, CA. The preschool serves up to 26 children ranging in ages from 2-6 years old. The preschool is conveniently located within a 1/4 mile of Mammoth Hospital. The facility is staffed with licensed professionals.

MEET OUR TEAM

Brittany Nelson

Ms. Brittany grew up in South Lake Tahoe and has lived in Mammoth for 9 years. She went to Western Governors University where she obtained her BA in educational Studies as well as her MA in Elementary Education. She has her California Multiple Subject teaching credential and has been working in Early Education for over 12 years. Her goal as an educator is to create a hands-on classroom, with as many real-life connections as possible. She wants every student at Little Lupins to feel loved, accepted, and be excited to come to school. When students leave Little Lupins my goal is to have created a foundation for them that will help them be kind humans and have a love for learning.

Thea Zobel

Ms. Thea has lived in Mammoth for 8 years. She received her BA in Child Development and her MA in Human Development. She has her California Multiple Subject Teaching Credential. She has taught preschool, first grade, second grade, children’s yoga, and gymnastics. She has taught in a classroom for over 11 years. Her educational philosophy aligns with the Montessori Method and is inspired by the Reggio Emilia Practices.
