Occupational therapists help people across the lifespan participate in the things they want and need to do through the therapeutic use of everyday activities (occupations).
Our Occupational Therapy department offers a comprehensive program that will help patients to achieve their goals, so they may return to activities of daily living, sports, hobbies, and family. Our occupational therapy team has extensive experience in a wide range of practice areas including upper extremity rehabilitation, neurological rehabilitation, pediatrics and mental health.
The occupational therapy team offers specialized occupational therapy programs treating a wide variety of conditions, illness and injuries that have resulted in functional deficits. Our occupational therapy team treats patients with illness and injury that affects their ability to carry out daily activities.
Our specialties include treatment of:
- Injuries to the shoulder, elbow, wrist and hand-including custom splint fabrication, wound care and use of physical agent modalities
- Neurologic conditions such as CVA, TBI, spinal cord injuries, and MS.
- Pediatric disorders
- Cancer patients including lymphedema management
Our OT team collaborates closely with the orthopedic and hand surgeons to provide excellent continuum of care. Our OT team’s goals are to provide compassionate care to help patients achieve all their goals, to get them back to activities of daily living, sports, work, and fun!
