Mammoth Hospital is a 17-bed critical access hospital—we are small but mighty, and we are committed to the health of our community! Our birth center delivers approximately 100 babies a year at 8,000 feet in elevation.
Though we take great care in screening our expecting mothers and transferring any high-risk patients to larger facilities, there are times when even the most carefully planned deliveries have complications. We need our providers and staff to be able to respond to every situation with confidence. In a low-volume facility like ours, we accomplish this through mock drills.
Our dedicated pediatric and labor & delivery teams have requested that we purchase a SimBaby, a simulator designed to help healthcare providers recognize and respond to critically ill pediatric patients. The SimBaby and supporting education will serve as vital additions to our Neonatal Resuscitation Program, preparing our providers and staff to care for our tiniest patients.
Your gift will make TWICE the impact thanks to a generous donor who is matching the first $20,000 raised for the SimBaby! Any additional funds raised through this campaign will support staff education.
The Mammoth Hospital Foundation is grateful for the continued generosity of our donors who support Mammoth Hospital. Together, we are building a tradition of exceptional care for our friends, family and guests. Thanks to your contributions, we can ensure that our Hospital will always be there for those in need.
