Mammoth Hospital’s birth center delivers approximately 100 babies a year at 8,000 feet in elevation. Though we take great care in screening our expecting mothers and transferring any high-risk patients to larger facilities, there are times when even the most carefully planned deliveries have complications. We need our providers and staff to be able to respond to every situation with confidence. In a low-volume facility like ours, we accomplish this through mock drills.
Our newborn care team requested the Foundation’s help purchasing a SimBaby, a simulator designed to help healthcare providers recognize and respond to critically ill pediatric patients. So, we centered our 2020 end-of-year fundraising campaign around the SimBaby, and we’re happy to report this item has been fully funded! Big thanks to all the donors who gave to this campaign.
The Mammoth Hospital Foundation is grateful for the continued generosity of our donors who support Mammoth Hospital. Together, we are building a tradition of exceptional care for our friends, family and guests. Thanks to your contributions, we can ensure that our Hospital will always be there for those in need.
