Biography

Scott grew up in the Santa Cruz/Monterrey Bay area in California. After recovering from a 17 year long illness, he decided to go back to school and devote his professional life to healthcare. Starting out at Cabrillo College in Aptos, CA, Scott earned associates degrees in Engineering and Biology. He then moved to San Diego, CA for his bachelor’s degree in Physiology & Neuroscience and minor in Cognitive Science at UC San Diego (2018). He then earned his Doctor of Physical Therapy Degree at San Diego State University (2021). He completed clinical rotations at Challenge Center, G3 Physical Therapy, and South Bay Rehab Center in San Diego, CA, as well as Mammoth Hospital Physical Therapy in Bishop, CA.

Scott grew up with a passion for outdoor adventure and challenge including surfing, hiking, skiing, snowboarding, and mountain biking, both along the coast, in the Sierras near Tahoe, and internationally. It wasn’t until he moved to San Diego that he began exploring and falling in love with the Eastern Sierras. Since then, Scott has begun to venture into climbing, mountaineering, trail running, and backcountry skiing. When the opportunity came up for a clinical rotation in Bishop, CA, followed by a job offer to work full time at the Mammoth Hospital clinic, Scott jumped on the opportunity without hesitation.

Scott is incredibly happy to be living and working in Mammoth with an amazing and inspiring group of coworkers, and an awesome community that he already feels a part of. He looks forward to many years of serving the community and enjoying the wonders of this amazing part of the world.
