Biography

Sarah moved to Mammoth Lakes in 2016 to pursue a passion for snow sports and to get involved with the local non-profit, Disabled Sports Eastern Sierra, as a volunteer ski & snowboard instructor. She has a background in working with children with physical and intellectual disabilities and received her Master’s in Occupational Therapy from San Jose State University in 2021. She completed clinical rotations in both upper extremity orthopedic rehabilitation and pediatric occupational therapy and joined the team at Mammoth Hospital in 2022 with a focus in hand therapy and upper extremity conditions. Sarah also has experience in inpatient orthopedic rehabilitation, home health services, and school-based pediatric services. In her spare time, Sarah enjoys backcountry skiing, rock climbing, and paragliding around the Eastern Sierra. She is passionate about working collaboratively with her patients to ensure their return to valued activities and various life roles following an injury or new medical condition.
