Biography
Dr. Timothy Cragun is a board-certified dermatologist originally from Ogden, Utah. He graduated from Weber State University with a Bachelor's degree in Spanish and graduated from the Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine in 1999. He completed a Family Medicine Residency in 2002 and worked as a Family Practice physician until 2008 when he started studying his true passion--dermatology. He completed his dermatology residency at Wilford Hall Medical Center in Lackland Air Force Base, Texas in 2011 where he served as chief resident. Dr. Cragun retired from the United States Air Force in 2019 and is happy to have had the opportunity to serve the men and women of the military and live in many areas throughout the world over his 20-year Air Force career. He currently splits his time seeing patients in San Antonio and Mammoth Lakes. He has been blessed to take care of the patients of Mammoth Lakes, Bishop and the surrounding areas since 2016.
Dr. Cragun's interests include treating acne, skin cancer, psoriasis, eczema, the aging face as well as the use of lasers in the treatment of a variety of skin conditions. Dr. Cragun is fluent in Spanish and enjoys taking care of Spanish-speaking patients. He is the proud father of four children (plus a son-in-law and a daughter-in-law) and has twin grandsons. He has been married to his cherished wife, Ami, for 30+ years. Dr. Cragun loves traveling, hiking in the mountains of the Eastern Sierra, all things BYU, is an avid runner, mediocre skier and a struggling golfer.
