Women’s Health Community Update
May is Women’s Healthcare Month, and we’d like to take the opportunity to provide an update on Women’s Healthcare at Mammoth Hospital. As most everyone knows, we have been on diversion for labor and delivery services due to culmination of Covid-19, retirements and general nursing shortages. This has led to the misperception that we have lost all women’s health services. To the contrary, we continue to provide full scope services for ALL things “women”, except for delivering babies.
The Mammoth Hospital Women’s Health providers offer comprehensive care for all seasons of female health from adolescence to beyond menopause. These services include annual physical exams, pap smears, STD screening and treatment, contraception, hormonal issues, perimenopause and menopausal care and treatment, and minimally invasive gynecological surgery. We also offer prenatal care up to the third trimester and postpartum care, as well as prenatal classes through Elevate!
