Mammoth Hospital Welcomes New Pediatricians
Welcome Dr. Sarah Ruberman and Dr. Mary Bissell
Mammoth Hospital is proud to announce the arrival of two new pediatricians, Dr. Sarah Ruberman and Dr. Mary Bissell, both who have been practicing at Mammoth Hospital since September. The two new doctors join Dr. Louisa Salisbury and Dr. Kristin Collins to provide comprehensive pediatric services from birth to adolescence.
Dr. Ruberman grew up in Brookline, Massachusetts and studied History & Literature at Harvard University. She obtained her Medical Degree at Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York. She completed an internship and residency in Pediatrics at University of Colorado at the Children’s Hospital of Colorado.
Dr. Ruberman lived in Denver for three years prior to moving to Mammoth Lakes, where she fell in love with mountains and skiing powder. She feels so lucky to be able to practice in a place like Mammoth with a small, close-knit community and a large Eastern Sierra backyard. It is a privilege to play a small role in the lives of kids and their families as they grow and develop and to help keep them healthy and safe. Dr. Ruberman spends her spare time hiking, trail running and skiing with her fiance, water coloring and reading novels.
Dr. Bissell earned her Bachelor’s Degree at the University of Southern California, in Los Angeles, and went on to complete her Medical Degree from the University of California, San Diego School of Medicine.
Prior to attending college, she was a nationally ranked figure skater. Dr. Bissell loves being part of the Mammoth community and taking advantage of all the wonders that the Eastern Sierra has to offer. In addition to spending her free time with her husband and two young children, Dr. Bissell enjoys traveling, running, snowboarding, boating and baking.
