Mammoth Hospital Announces the Hiring of New Chief Executive Officer

Tom Parker
The Southern Mono Healthcare District Board of Directors is pleased to announce the hiring of the District’s new Chief Executive Officer, Tom Parker. Parker will replace retiring CEO, Gary Myers, after 19 years of service and will assume his new duties on December 3, 2018. Parker has spent the majority of his 30-year career in the Pacific Northwest, holding various administrative positions with the Legacy Health System based in Portland, Oregon. For the past three years, he has served as the Chief Executive Officer of Snoqualmie Valley Hospital in Snoqualmie, Washington; a 25-bed District Hospital with two clinics and 300 employees.
“I am thrilled to have been selected as the new CEO and am eager to begin my work at Mammoth Hospital and in the community,” said Parker in a recent statement. “I am grateful for the trust the Board of Directors has extended to me to continue the successes achieved over many years of hard work by employees, medical staff and the board of directors. My wife, Kristen, and I look forward to embracing a new community, making new friends, and experiencing the beauty of the region.”
