Providing Full-Time Women’s Health Services

Mammoth Hospital is pleased to announce the appointment of two new interim OB-GYNs to provide full-time Women’s Health coverage through the calendar year. Dr. Joseph Edwards and Dr. Natasha Laird fill the vacancies of Dr. Karimoto and Dr. Lopez, who recently relocated out of the area.

Dr. Edwards has been a full scope OB/GYN for over 30 years and has been working at Sunlife Center for Women in Maricopa, Arizona for the past 10 years. He is board certified and completed his residency at Mercy Medical Center in San Diego. Dr. Laird is also Board-Certified and completed her medical degree at Howard University College of Medicine in 2001. She comes to Mammoth Hospital most recently from Abrazo Arrowhead Hospital Center in Glendale, Arizona.

Starting January 1st, Dr. Laurence Fakinos will be joining Mammoth Hospital’s Women’s Health practice full-time. Dr. Fakinos was born and raised in Southern California and received his medical degree from Chicago Medical School at Rosalind Franklin University. He completed his residency at Loma Linda University Medical School. Dr. Fakinos has been in private practice for 26 years in Mission Viejo, California. He is married with five children and four grandchildren.
