Volunteer at Mammoth Hospital

Mammoth Hospital provides volunteer opportunities in the following programs that promote healing and enhance the patient experience. If you are interested in volunteering in the following programs, please call the volunteer department at (760) 924-4015 or apply online here.

Animal Assisted Therapy

Paws-4-Healing Pet Partner volunteers and their animals are thoroughly trained and evaluated to provide “Animal Assisted Activities” to the patients, family members, and staff at Mammoth Hospital and Sierra Park Clinics.

Animal Assisted Activities provide opportunities for social and emotional benefits to enhance the quality of the patient’s experience at Mammoth Hospital. The handler and animal are certified as Pet Partner teams through Paws-4-Healing, an affiliate group of Delta Society.

For more information, visit Paws 4 Healing.

Spiritual Care Team

The Spiritual Care team provides emotional & spiritual support to patients and their families focused on the spirit of humanity.

Mammoth Hospital Auxiliary

Become a member of the Auxiliary. The hospital receives extraordinary support from this program. Not only does the Auxiliary support the hospital with funds, most of which are earned from the local thrift store, the Cast Off, but they also commit to hundreds of hours annually in hospital service.

Contributions made by the Auxiliary

If you are interested in becoming a member, please contact Judy Bornfeld at (760) 937-4387 or the Cast Off at (760) 934-4303.
